EVENTS: MWAN RIVERS CELEBRATES AN ICON @70
A busload of ladies from MWAN Rivers represented the association at the festive 70th birthday celebrations of an MWAN ICON, Member Board of Trustees Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, and Past National President of the Association – Her Highness Dame Dr Ebimie Uzoamaka Okara (mni)
The event which gathered a huge crowd of family, friends and well-wishers took place on Friday the 25th of February 2022 with a Thanksgiving Service at St Peter’s Deanery Yenagoa. In her characteristic magnanimous fashion, Dr Okara had declared OPEN HOUSE between 8 am and 6 pm at her Yenagoa residence on that day. It was truly an event to remember and cherish.
MEETINGS: FEBRUARY MENTORSHIP MASTER CLASS
Another exciting edition of the Mentorship Masterclass, powered by the Young Doctors Forum, held on Saturday the 26th of February 2022. This virtual event which attracted ninety-five participants was themed Relationships: Finding Love and Keeping Love. Excellent Facilitators Dr Stephanie Oarhe and Prof Adedayo Adio gave brief talks and responded to several questions over the course of two-hours. The meeting was a resounding success.
