WELFARE
MWAN Rivers paid a welfare visit to the Young Doctors’ Forum Secretary, Dr Linda Dublin-Green. We pray God’s blessings upon her family, and that the child will always be a source of joy to the family.
Dr Adaeze Anidi-Ugwu, consultant endocrinologist was a guest on TodayFM PH where she enlightened the public on Diabetes diagnosis, prevention, and control.
COLLABORATION
The National Youth Council president and their Pad a Girl Child project committee members met with Secretary of MWAN Rivers to solicit collaboration for the project “Pad a girl child”. The intention is to focus on the communities in the 3 senatorial District of Rivers State. To provide health education and distribution of sanitary pads. They have a symposium planed for the 8th March as part of the activities to mark the International Women’s Day.
